Crime Scene

Entering the parallel universe of loneliness
He holds his hand against the mirror.
The twilight zone invasion in his mind,
the swirl of panic and insanity takes over.
He’s hypnotized with pain but pleasure.
It’s all in my head, it’s all in my head,
He clears the dust on his shoulders.
He kneels before the power of pangs of conscience,
Weeping with no tears, screaming with no sound.
Each drop of blood he has shed feels right.
How hard can it be?
How hard will it become?
Weakness fills his soul, there’s no space.
He reaches out into the dark sky,
Blinding waiting for another soul to pass by.
