My Version of Perfect Love

  • it’s when you’re both best friends and you can tell each other pretty much everything and laugh about the weirdest, most random things.
  • it’s when the other is going through something difficult and listen to them and says substantial things to help the other out.
  • it’s when one pushes the other to be better and tries to heal the mistakes made in the past.
  • it’s when you don’t have to talk or see each other 24/7. they respect the fact that each of you have their own lives and there are things the other cannot be completely part of. example, one likes to read the other prefers to exercise. you dont have to force each other to do read or exercise. “this is my time to read, so pls leave me alone.”
  • it’s when you don’t HAVE to remind each other that you love each other ALL THE TIME. it’s nice to hear but you know… pace it a little bit. don’t throw it all at me in one go.
  • it’s when you can tease each other and not take it personally.
  • it’s when you can go through days without having sex. but when you finally do it, it’s the best fucking orgasm in the world.
  • it’s when you can go out to a cafe and just sit there. talk about world issues, or economics, or ideals and philosophy, or just personal views on different things.
  • it’s when you comment on each others stuff.
  • it’s when you understand that you have a lifetime to get to know this person and it will be one heck of a bumpy ride but at the end it will be just plain fucking awesome.
  • it’s when you know the boundaries of jokes and hurting each other [with words].
  • it’s when you can check out other ppl while you’re together. online or on the street.
  • it’s when you quote lines from tv shows and movies so your conversations are more fun and has that dramatic touch to it.
  • it’s when you can watch full a full season of a tv show and not care how you look.
  • it’s when you can just be in the same room and not really talk to each other. appreciate the time that you’re sharing. and for the online relationships: same goes when you’re on the phone or something… silence is nice sometimes. as long as the person’s presence is there.
  • it’s those car rides or phone calls where you’re just singing random pop songs or music from broadway-musicals and just make complete FOOLS of yourselves but it’s really fun. what’s much better —> rapping songs you can’t rap. lol that’s the best.
  • it’s when you’re having a serious conversation and you know when to crack a joke and when NOT to.
  • it’s when you help each other mature. towards love and life.
