Death of a Sinner

I disappear just like smoke, from the burning tobacco of my cigarette.
It burns to find the current wind to the place where my heart lies.
The wind takes the pieces I left, the pieces of me, that I no longer own.
My mind has become a ship-wrecked monument of surreal catastrophic coincidence.
My body now lies under the constant drift of fire and breathe.
It burns.
I yearn for a better light, a better air.
I gaze into the darkness with the small amount of crime scene salvation that I have left.
Take me, Father, for I have sinned.
I confess to my crime and my smoke.
Allow me to be forgiven, give me time to repent.
Thou shall not kill.
